If my flight doesn’t come in till 10pm would I still be charged for that day when I check in?

Hi there, Sharon & Welcome to planDisney! Thanks so much for stopping by to ask us a question. How exciting that you have a vacation planned at The Most Magical Place on Earth

When you make hotel reservations, you are paying for each day of your stay. Even when you arrive late at night, you are securing the room and will be charged for the date of check-in. I know this can be a bit disappointing because you don't get to enjoy more time at your resort that day. I have sometimes done a split stay when I have a later flight. I will choose to start at a Value Resort Hotel from the Disney Resorts Collection, and then transfer to a Moderate Resort Hotel or a Deluxe Resort Hotel for the duration of our stay. If you don't prefer to change hotels, I would leave your hotel reservations as is. The nice part of that is, you're going to wake up ready to enjoy the start of your Walt Disney World vacation!

If you happen to be staying at a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel, you can look forward to many magical features and amenities! With your late arrival, you can utilize Direct-To-Room Service which is an online check-in feature on the My Disney Experience app. When traveling to and from the theme parks and Disney Springs, you can take complimentary resort transportation. You can also enjoy Early Theme Park Entry at each theme park every day!

I'm wishing you a pixie-dusted vacation! If you have any additional questions, please visit us again at planDisney. We're always happy to help!

    Smiles,
