    What can I do if my flight is delayed and I arrive 1 day after my check-in date?

    Hola, Felipe!

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so excited for your July vacation to the "Most Magical Place on Earth!"

    I hope all your flights arrive and depart on time so this concern is not an issue. If, however, you arrive one day after your anticipated arrival date you will still be able to check-in to your Walt Disney World Resort hotel but will have lost the benefit of that missed day from your package. According to the Cast Member I spoke with, your Magic Your Way Vacation package will not be able to be extended.

    I would contact a Cast Member in Walt Disney World Resort reservations 407-WDISNEY (407-934-7639) to get more information about this particular situation.

    For our big Disney trips, we tend to purchase travel insurance. In your case, it would be a wise idea to help cover some of the lost expenses you may incur from delayed flights by having this insurance. Travelex insurance offered by Disney is only for residents of The United Stated of America (including Puerto Rico) and Canada.
