If our flight is cancelled due to a snowstorm, are there options to move our park tickets back a few days or do we lose them and buy new tickets?

    Welcome back to planDisney, Jill!

I see that your arrival to Walt Disney World is right around the corner...and so is a snowstorm in your area. Elsa's back in action this winter--yikes!

Rest assured that if you have dated Walt Disney World Theme Park Tickets but are unable to get to those days in the parks, you can certainly have your dates adjusted. Just call the super-friendly Help Center cast members to get help with tickets. They can adjust so many details so that your new plans will work perfectly for you.

Coming from Pennsylvania, we've been snowed into--and out of--Walt Disney World on more than one occasion, and I can say that all of our details were rearranged beautifully...once we put down our shovels to catch our breath that is!

As soon as you hear that your flight is, in fact, cancelled, and that you won't be able to take a rescheduled flight in time for the first date on your tickets, make that call. You'll be relieved knowing that your magical vacation still awaits...just a little later.

If you don't manage to change those dates prior to arrival, simply go to Guest Relations or a ticketing window prior to entering a park. Those details can be adjusted there, too, and you'll start your first park day knowing that the rest of the plans are positively pixie dusted!

Jill, as you keep an eye on the forecast, the flight schedule, and any adjustments you may need to make, be sure to send additional questions our way. We love to help!

Now, I'm off to build a snowman...
