Hi Tara,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am delighted to respond to this question!
Transportation time can vary depending on actual flight arrival times. To be cautious, just in case your flight is delayed, I would recommend scheduling that first
Fast Pass+ for 4:00 p.m. or later. If you like to live on the wild side, you could book that first Fast Pass+ for 2:30 p.m.
If you book the 4:00 p.m. Fast Pass+ and your flight arrives on time, you could take the extra time to eat lunch or to unpack prior to heading to Disney's Hollywood Studios.
On our first day, my family typically arrives by noon, checks into the resort, eats lunch and heads to the park for a Fast Pass+ reservation. Then we do dinner at 6:00 p.m. and our remaining Fast Pass+ reservations after dinner. If the park closes earlier, we do two Fast Pass+ reservations before dinner and one after dinner.
Clearly, you have options! My primary piece of advice is to consider a possible flight delay. Also, remember to use
Disney's Luggage Delivery Service to have your larger bags transported to the room. Since it can take a few hours for those bags to be delivered, be sure to keep extra clothes, medicine and MagicBands with you in your carry-on bags.
Happy Planning!
