Our flight arrives in Orlando at 1130am on NYE. We do plan on attending a park that day. Our party consists of 5 adults and 2 toddlers. Which park do you recommend visiting?

I will admit I'm partial to the Magic Kingdom on New Year's Eve because I think it is the most magical, but it is a small park and fills up so quickly on holidays (they sometimes have to turn guests away).  Watching the fireworks may be very uncomfortable for you with toddlers because of the anticipated crowds.  Because of this, I'm partial to Epcot which has much more room to hold the crowds of people better. Epcot has plans for special fireworks at 7:40 and again at 11:50. Epcot also offers the chance to sip some real bubbly if you wish!

If you have your heart set on the Magic Kingdom fireworks (8:30 and 11:50), would you consider watching them from outside the park?  We've watched the early fireworks from the beach at the Polynesian which was just as magical, but without the crowds and our children could run around on the beach at the same time.  Since they were younger at the time, they certainly didn't know any difference that they weren't actually in the park.  We then returned to our room where they were able to get a good night sleep.
