If our flight arrives in the morning and check in isn't until 3:00pm. What do we do?

    Hi Caroline,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question!

I usually try to take the very first flight out of my home airport in order to maximize my precious vacation time, so I’ve been in your position countless times before. My suggestion would be to head to your Walt Disney World Resort hotel when you arrive, on the off chance that your hotel room is ready earlier than 3:00 pm.

In the (very likely) chance that it isn’t, you’ll get a text message or alert via your My Disney Experience app when it is… but that doesn’t mean that you have to wait to start your Disney day! You’ll be able to enjoy all of your Resort hotel’s amenities the moment you arrive, including its pool area, the moment you arrive. If you plan to do that, make sure that you keep your swimsuits and other water essentials in your carry-on bag for easy access when you arrive. You can also head to the Theme Parks by using Disney’s Complimentary Resort Transportation to get to your destination.

I hope my answer helps you plan a smooth start to your vacation. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
