If our flight arrives 5 hours before check in, what do we do with our bags?

Hi there, Amy! We're so glad you stopped by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We're happy to have you here!

I like to schedule an early morning flight, so I have more time to explore the theme parks and my Walt Disney World Resort hotel on my arrival day. My recommendation is to drop your luggage off with Bell Services at the entrance of your Resort until your room is ready. If you are arriving on Disney′s Magical Express, you can also take advantage of the service's free luggage delivery service. This way, our bags automatically show up in our room about 3-5 hours after our arrival. In the meantime, we explore the Parks or spend the afternoon splashing in our Resort's swimming pool (make sure to pack those swimsuits in your carry-on). If you've added the Disney Dining Plan to your vacation package, you can start using it as soon as you arrive, even if you're room is not yet ready, so feel free to fuel up! Here's a Moms Panel tip: use Online Check-in through your My Disney Experience account before your arrival. This step will allow you to skip the Front Desk, and you'll receive messages via text or email alerting you when your room is ready. During my last trip, I got a text before we even got off the Magical Express, and it was exciting to know we could go directly to our room since your MagicBands serve as your room key!

I hope you have a magical trip, Amy! Please stop back and see us again real soon!

Meet the Panelist: Eean, Pennsylvania

Hi, I'm Eean from Pennsylvania!  I may have an unusual name, but my passion for Disney is not unique.  It’s amazing how many people you can find who love talking about, "The Most Magical Place On Earth!"  I'm that mom who always has her ears perked at PTO meetings, in the grocery store aisle, or at middle school basketball games waiting for an opportunity to give someone a planning tip to help make their vacation even more magical.
