Hello! Our flight will arrive at 3:00 on 10/19. Taking ME and staying at All Star Movies. Is it possible to make it to Chef Mickey's for a 5 or 6 ADR? Kids (DD4 DD1 go to bed by 8) Thank you! The panel is a wealth of info!

Hi, Amanda!   I would feel more comfortable with a 6:00 p.m. reservation at Chef Mickey's if your flight lands at 3:00 p.m.    With this time, you will not feel rushed.   You should have time to check into your resort, drop your carry-ons in your room, then head to the Contemporary Resort for dinner with Mickey and his pals! (Take your resort bus to the Magic Kingdom then either walk or take the monorail over to the Contemporary.)

Allow about 1 1/2 hours for dinner, then head back to your resort for a good night's sleep!   Your kids might be just a few minutes past their bedtime, but not too bad!   It is such a great idea to keep them on their usual schedule.

Don't forget your camera and autograph books, and have fun dining with Mickey!  What a great way to begin your magical vacation in WDW!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. I am proud to be a part of the planDisney team and cannot wait to share my tips and advice for a magical vacation
