    Our flight will arrive about 3:00 in the afternoon and wondered how long it should take to get to Port Orleans Resort on the Disney bus provided from airport. Also, how often does a shuttle, etc. run each day from resorts and park to park?”

    One of the things I love about staying at a Disney Resort hotel is the convenient transportation! Whether I'm using Disney's Magical Express for transportation between Orlando International Airport and my Disney Resort hotel or using complimentary resort transportation to travel between locations at Walt Disney World Resort, the transportation options when you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel help make your vacation so simple and easy!

    I always plan for three hours between the time when my flight lands at Orlando International Airport and when I am at my Disney Resort hotel and ready to start our first activity. This allows plenty of time to get through the airport, get to the Disney's Magical Express terminal, wait for your bus to be ready to depart, travel to Walt Disney World Resort and make possible stops at other Disney Resort hotels before reaching your vacation "home". There are times when the trip has been quicker, but in my experience the start of our vacation is more relaxed if we plan plenty of time to accommodate airport transportation. If your first activity is at a different location than Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside, be sure to plan additional time for transportation to that destination. 

    When using complimentary resort transportation busses to get around Walt Disney World Resort, you will find that buses for each destination arrive approximately every 20 minutes. I always plan one hour total travel time when using the buses, which includes the time to wait for a bus and time to travel to your destination.
