How flexible are the menus when on DDP? I am on a low carb diet so could I substitute smashed potatoes for salad where it appears with broiled salmon as an Entree at Chef de France? Buffet restaurants will be ok but worried about TS restaurants with menus.

    Hi Jill,

The Disney Dining Plan is a wonderful way to try all the fantastic restaurants at Walt Disney World.  The Table Service restaurants will definitely allow you to make substitutions for a lower carbohydrate option if you would like.  When you arrive at your table, discuss your preferences with the Cast Member who is serving you.  If you have any specific allergies, he will talk with the Chef for you as well.  You can have no worries and stay on your diet while at Walt Disney World, Jill!  Also remember that you will be walking more than you normally do.  When I was at Walt Disney World last month, I used my pedometer to calculate the average miles you walk around and it was 6 to 7 miles a day!  Have a magical vacation, Jill!
