Hi Jonathan! Welcome to planDisney, where we aim to make each Guest the Happiest Guest on Earth!
If your
theme park ticket is not assigned to a specific date range (which would have been selected at the time of purchase), until further notice, you will still need to make
Theme Park Reservations for each day you'd like to visit a theme park at the
Walt Disney World Resort. Some examples of tickets that will still require Theme Park Reservations are
Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passes, student group tickets, Sport and Convention tickets, and the Disney Military Salute Ticket. Just check to see if your ticket has dates assigned to them, and if they don't, you will need to make reservations.
While you may still need to make reservations, there are still some great changes that you'll be able to take advantage of while visiting the resort. For visits on or after January 9, 2024, you can add a
dining plan if you have a vacation package that includes a
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel. And, my favorite, if your ticket has the
Park Hopper Option, you will not have to wait until 2 p.m. to hop to your next park. Want to be in
Magic Kingdom Park for rope-drop and then once you've checked a few
experiences off your list, hop to another park at 11 a.m.? Go for it. I love the flexibility of going to whichever park, whenever I want, for however long I want. It's very freeing!
Jonathan, I hope your February visit is a great one. If you have any other questions, you can
reach out directly to me and I'd be happy to get those answers for you!
Happiness is the richest thing we will ever own,
Matt
