Hi Daniela! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
You must be thrilled to
visit the Walt Disney World Resort tomorrow. I am sorry to hear about your little guy's injury! Fortunately, there is still a lot for everyone to experience and there is magic to be found around every corner.
My first piece of advice would be to consult your son's doctor, so I am happy that you are already one step ahead and have consulted your medical provider already! Since he has been cleared to ride the attractions, I have a few suggestions for making the most out of your trip.
I definitely recommend either bringing a
stroller or
wheelchair with you, or renting one when you are in the theme parks. If using a stroller, stop by
Guest Relations to ask about a special pass that allows you to use a
stroller as a wheelchair. This will allow you to enter most queue areas with the stroller, so you don't have to worry about transporting your son through lines. You will need to help your
kiddo transfer to the attraction, but most rides that are appropriate for his age should be roomy enough that he can sit comfortably with his cast.
There are healthy advisories posted, as well as Cast Members available, to check with each attraction to make sure your son will be okay with his cast. More thrilling rides will probably need to be avoided since your son may have to brace himself with his foot, but feel free to ask a nearby Cast Member if you are concerned about your son riding.
I hope this helps a little, Daniela! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
