I have a five year old daughter and we will be doing Disney for the first time in January. We are doing three character meals (Chef M [dinner], Crystal P [lunch] and 1900 Park Fare [dinner]) is this too much? It is a 3/night, 2/day trip.

    Hi there, Robin!

You must be getting so excited with your very first Walt Disney World vacation coming right up next month!

You've made some great choices with your Character meals! Each of those locations will provide a completely different experience with different Characters in attendance. If you're having dinner at Chef Mickey's on your first night, I think that's an awesome plan! On your second day, if you've got your Crystal Palace lunch and your 1900 Park Fare dinner on the same day, that might be a lot as they both have fantastic choices on their buffet meals. I'd hate for you to not be hungry enough from lunch to really enjoy the amazing dinner choices at 1900 Park Fare.

My family will typically reserve one buffet/Character meal per day during our vacation. If we really want to do two in the same day, we tend to lean more towards a breakfast and a dinner. If you have an early lunch, say 11:00 a.m. and a later dinner, around 7:00 p.m., that could definitely work too. You've picked some of the most popular dining locations on Walt Disney World property and I think your little girl will be in her glory! The Character meals are my very favorite way to interact with all the Characters!

I hope this helps, Robin! Please feel free to write back in if you have any other questions we might be able to help with!

    Wishing a Pixie Dusted vacation!
