Hi Moms! In five short weeks, we will be taking my parents to the Magic Kingdom for the first time! My Dad (65 yrs) has high blood pressure and therefore needs to stay away from "thrill" rides. What attractions would he enjoy the most?

Hi Jennifer!  Yay!  You will have a great time.  How fun for your parents!  The Magic Kingdom is perfect for non-thrill riders!  The only rides that would be considered "thrill" are the mountain rides:  Space Mountain, Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.  I would also skip the Mad Tea Party, Astro Orbiter, and Stitch's Great Escape!.  Other than that, your father will really enjoy Magic Kingdom.  He will probably really like the rides in Fantasyland, The Hall of Presidents, Mickey's Philharmagic,....well, I could go on and on!!  If you go to the Disney World Attractions link on Disney's website, you can select categories for recommendations based on your preferences.  Have a wonderful trip!
