I will be about five months pregnant when I go to WDW in Aug and was wondering if I would still be able to do things at the waterparks while I am there? I know it will be hot and the cooling off will be appreciated.

    Hi Shanna,

Welcome to the Moms Panel and congratulations on your pregnancy!  You are certainly correct when you say that it will be HOT in August, so ample relaxing pool time will be a great idea for you!  Unfortunately most of the waterpark attractions do indicate that expectant mothers should not ride.

If you are still planning on visiting the waterparks, I would suggest sticking to the lazy river but talk to your doctor about your plans as they would be best qualified to affirm that this would be an acceptable activity.

I really enjoyed visiting Walt Disney World while pregnant, just be sure to keep well hydrated and follow your doctors advice regarding any special considerations you should take.
