Hiya, Doyal! You've got a friend in us here at planDisney and we are so glad you've stopped by!
I'm a momma of tweens and teens and I'd be happy to share how our family visits Disneyland when it comes to phones and accounts. We actually have one Disney account for our family and all of our tickets are all linked to that one account. When we are in the parks my husband, my two oldest with phones, and I, all log in to the
Disneyland app on our one Disney account. Multiple phones can be logged into the same account without any issues. This allows us to easily have all our tickets or passes in one place which is great when we decide to purchase
Disney Genie+ because we can make LIghtning Lane selections in one transaction rather than all of us trying to book the same time separately. This also allows us to make
theme park ticket reservations in one step for all our tickets.
I haven't found any benefit to our family members having our own accounts. There are no "Friends and Family" options for profiles in the Disneyland app like there are for the My Disney Experience app at Walt Disney World.
Another reason we use the same account is so that we can easily divide and conquer when it comes to mealtime in the parks if we decide to
mobile food order from multiple places. My oldest is vegetarian and sometimes vegan, so she may decide to grab something elsewhere. This means we can order (and pay) all from our account, but while we are grabbing our food at one quick service location she can go grab hers.
Doyal, I hope this helps you decide what works best for your family. The Disneyland app is full of useful tools to make the most of your Disneyland visit!
