    Five days and counting until our trip!! Our first day is breakfast at Chef Mickey's and then on to Epcot for the day. What's the best way to get to Epcot? Jump on a bus from the Contemporary or am I right in thinking the Monorail goes to Epcot?? Thanks

    Hi Victoria!

          How did you know that I just love answering Disney Transportation System questions! Yes, you can get to Epcot from the Contemporary Resort by using the Disney World Monorail System. You will have to get on the Resort Monorail after your Chef Mickey's breakfast is complete (the monorail station is on the floor above Chef Mickey's).  You will get off at the next stop which is the Ticket and Transportation Center (the TTC) and then transfer to the Epcot Monorail. This is really easy to do and there are lots of signs that show Guests where to go. This journey could be less than 30 minutes if a Monorail is waiting at each station or they come within a few minutes of when you get to each Monorail Station but it could take longer than 30 minutes if you have to wait a while for each Monorail to come.
