As a fellow
Disney Vacation Club Owner, being able to plan trips around the
special events and experiences geared exclusively for eligible members is key - this is especially true for complimentary
Moonlight Magic events that truly make you feel like royalty!
It looks like you're planning on coming down at the end of July to coincide with the event taking place at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park; there's really nothing like experiencing this park after dark with an extra layer of adventurous excitement in the air! If the five of you are fortunate enough to be able to register spaces for this event, it may definitely be a good idea to save the park tickets you would've used that day for another during your stay - but be sure to double-check and
confirm your ticket validity for any unused days.
For example, setting the 28th of July as the
Start Date on a 7-Day Ticket shows that it may be valid until the 6th of August, as tickets can be used on non-consecutive days. I always recommend confirming with wherever you purchase any admission media from - in this case, your ticket broker - whether there are any applicable restrictions. In addition,
sending an email to the Ticket Usage Cast Members may be a good idea to ensure you're aware of the options that may be available to you if you choose not to use your tickets that day.
As for some of my Princely Picks to spend the day outside of the parks while you await the start of Moonlight Magic, I would recommend hanging out nearby at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge! Whether you're staying there as a guest or just visiting for the day, we like having
a substantial meal earlier in the afternoon at restaurants like
Boma - Flavors of Africa or
Sanaa to carry us through late-night events while saving space for all of the complimentary snacks and treats.
