Hi there, Marilyn! Thanks for stopping by planDisney and asking your question!
It sounds like you're planning an epic vacation to the Disneyland Resort and I couldn't be more excited for you! You are correct that
a five-day ticket is the longest multi-day ticket currently available. If you want to spend seven days at the parks, you would indeed need to purchase a separate two-day ticket in addition to your five-day ticket. The other option would be to look into purchasing a
Magic Key Pass. There are four levels of passes to choose from that offer different prices and perks. If you think that you will plan a few other visits to the Disneyland Resort in the next year, it may be more cost effective to buy a Magic Key Pass. Just be sure to check the blockout dates for each pass type to see if the pass can be used for your intended travel dates.
While seven days at the parks sounds truly fabulous, you may find that five days is sufficient. Even if you are touring the parks at a leisurely pace, you can get a lot done in five days. When I visit with my family, we usually stay for 4-5 days and sometimes even build in a day just for lounging at our
Disneyland Resort Hotel pool. After a few days in the parks, we've discovered that we've ridden our favorite attractions multiple times,
enjoyed a variety of delicious meals, and taken in any nighttime entertainment offered. So, I would suggest creating tentative plans for each day of your trip to see how many days you need before purchasing your tickets.
No matter how many days you decide to visit, there will certainly be magic to be had at every moment! Happy planning!
