Hi Susan!
Staying at
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is truly an incredible experience! You’ll be surrounded by breathtaking African-inspired architecture and have the unique opportunity to observe animals roaming the savanna maybe even right outside of your room if you have a Savannah View room.
Since food is my love language, I can’t answer a question about Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge without talking about the amazing dining.
Boma – Flavors of Africa is one of my favorite breakfast dining spots and if you’re in the mood for a signature dining experience,
Jiko – The Cooking Place is an exceptional experience. Whether you’re craving a buffet brimming with exotic flavors or a fine-dining experience, the culinary offerings at Jambo House are exceptional.
As for your question about the accessible rooms, yes, an
ECV (electric conveyance vehicle) should fit in an accessible room at Jambo House. These rooms are designed with extra space to accommodate mobility devices like scooters, ensuring that your stay is comfortable.
If you don’t have your own ECV, I recommend considering renting through Scooterbug, Disney’s featured provider. They will conveniently deliver the ECV directly to your resort on your check-in day, and when it’s time to depart, you can simply drop it off at Bell Services. It’s a seamless process! Plus, you’ll be able to take the ECV on complimentary Disney transportation, including buses to the theme parks and Disney Springs, which will make getting around that much easier. ECV’s are also available for rent on a daily basis at the Theme Parks and Disney Springs but are available on a first come, first served basis.
Wishing you a magical stay at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge! Enjoy the adventure!
