    Is fishing allowed in Hourglass Lake? What type of fish is there. We are planning on staying at Pop Century with our 18 month old & while he naps my husband wants to do some fishing but stay close to us.

    Hi Heather,

    At this time, fishing is not permitted at Hourglass Lake. Your husband would need to travel to another resort in order to cast a line. Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground and Disney's Port Orleans Resort—Riverside both offer dockside fishing and equipment rentals. Otherwise, he'd need to book a guided bass fishing excursion. There is a two-hour fishing excursion offered, if he wanted a shorter experience that is close to the length of naptime. It's a really fun experience for anyone who loves fishing!
