We would like to fish at Port Orleans Riverside but we are staying at Saratoga Springs with children. How far of a walk is it between the resorts?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Valerie! I love to see a fellow Pennsylvanian heading to the Most Magical Place on Earth!

My husband and I stayed at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa last summer and savored the slower pace of this resort, the "home away from home" feel and the proximity to Disney Springs! I hope you love it!

Valerie, one of the reasons my family keeps coming back to the Walt Disney World Resort year after year is because there is so much to do outside of the parks, including fishing! Since you'll be headed over to Disney's Port Orleans Resort- Riverside to cast your line, your question about getting there is very important. Unfortunately there is not a walking path between the two and no easy way to get there on two feet. The most convenient mode to get from Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa to Disney's Port Orleans Resort- Riverside is to walk over to Disney Springs and catch a water taxi. You can then do the reverse to get home.

Alternatively, if you're hoping for door-to-door drop off, for a fee, you can order a Minnie Van through the Lyft app. With this service a friendly Cast Member will pick you up and take you directly where you need to go. The ease of this can't be beat!

I hope this helps as you are planning out the days for your upcoming trip. Wishing you a vacation filled with Magical moments and a record-breaking fish!
