Can I fish at Port Orleans Riverside if Im not staying there?

Hey there, Kelly! It's wonderful to have you stop by and visit with us again for your upcoming visit.

One of my son's favorite activities today is to go cane-pole fishing at Disney's Port Orleans-Riverside
So if you’re not staying at Riverside but want to enjoy a quiet fishing break, you’re totally fine to head over and do that.

Port Orleans Riverside has dockside-style fishing at the Fishin’ Hole, and it’s open to anyone, no matter where you're staying during your vacation. You can just stop by, rent a rod and reel, and fish right there on the spot. It’s catch-and-release, and rentals are paid for at the fishing location.

Cane-pole fishing for 30 minutes is $6.00 per pole. The family rate for 30 minutes for up to 6 people is $15.00 for poles, bait, and dock time included. Remember that prices are subject to change without notice.

While my son fishes, I enjoy a quick nap on the hammocks nearby. Also, while you're at Port Orleans, you can take a relaxing boat ride down the Sassagoula River to Disney Springs or take a horse-drawn carriage ride while you're there.

Kelly, I hope that you have a wonderful vacation. If you have more questions about your upcoming trip, don't hesitate to stop by and see us again!
