Hi, there!
Welcome to planDisney, Jay. I'm so glad you stopped by with your question today! It looks like your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is just about to begin. Forget about counting down the days or hours at this point - you must be counting down the minutes!
You're going to love experiencing the
Disney Resorts Collection. When you stay at a Disney Resort hotel, you stay IN the magic, even after you've left the theme parks!
I'm pleased to tell you that you
can fish at
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort. Isn't that great? Some peaceful fishing is sure to be a nice break from the adventures you experience in the theme parks! My dear friend and fellow panelist,
Robyn, recently enjoyed a stay at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort and she reports that you can find the fishing rod rentals available at La Marina. She said that there was posted signage about fishing rental information at a booth on Lago Dorada near Laguna Bar. Keep your eyes peeled for up-to-date signage about current recreational offerings! You can also stop by the Front Desk where a friendly Cast Member will be happy to share current happenings with you.
You may also be interested to learn that
guided fishing excursions are available at the Walt Disney World Resort. While these experiences are not available at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, you can visit other marinas throughout the Walt Disney World Resort to hop on a 21-foot Sun Tracker pontoon boat or a tournament-style NITRO bass fishing boat. Guided fishing excursions can be booked by calling (407) 939-BASS or (407) 939-2277.
This mom of three runs on equal parts pixie-dust and caffeine. If you're anything like me, be sure to stop by
Barcelona Lounge at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort before heading for the theme parks in the morning. Robyn says this espresso bar is a must-visit!
I hope this was helpful, Jay. I'm wishing you a magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
