Hi, this is my firts cruise ever & given that the Disney Wonder is an older ship, what are the best activities to do while on board? Is there anything interesting to do in Key West? How much money should I bring for my wife & 2 kids (6 & 10)?

    Hello Juan -

Welcome back to the Moms Panel. One of the great things about cruising with Disney, is the fact that you've got an all inclusive vacation already wrapped up for you!  From the amazing Broadway-style evening shows, to the wide array of food choices and the award-winning Youth Clubs... you've got bang for your buck, when you take a Disney Cruise Line vacation. The Disney Wonder is a classic ship that our family loves! The moment you step on board, and they announce your family name to welcome you - the magic begins! The ship is beautiful and everything is kept in top ship shape!

Your kids will likely want to check out the Oceaneer Lab & Club first. On embarkation day, it will be an Open House, so go ahead and explore the youth club with the kids. I have no doubt that your 2 buccaneers will want to be left there for most of your cruise. Try not to miss any of the evening shows - you'll be at the theater before or after dinner. Watching the evening shows and enjoying dinner together as a family is a family bonding activity that you can count on while on board. Your kids will likely want to be at the Youth Clubs afterwards... so let them. There are so many fun organized activities, they won't want to miss any of it! While the kids are enjoying themselves, you can explore the ship and check out the fun adults-only nightclubs - live music, bingo, dancing... lots of things to do for the parents. Date night can be every night!

If you've never been to Key West, you might want to go sight seeing & check out the Old Town Trolley Tour. it's a leisurely tour and you can take your time to explore afterwards too. Don't forget to check the Personal Navigator every night. There are a lot of scheduled activities that will be listed there.

    Bon voyage!
