We're first-timers; can someone take me step-by-step through the arrival process at MK? We are staying offsite, will need to park our rental car. Will have our tix in hand, plan to arrive at least 45 mins before park opening. Is this enough time? Thanks!

    Hi Julie!

You will drive onto Walt Disney World and then follow signs to the Magic Kingdom.  You will be led to a large parking toll booth with many lanes of traffic.  That is the entrance to the parking lot for the Magic Kingdom.  From there you will walk (if you are very close to the front) or take a parking tram to the Transportation and Ticket Center.  From the Transportation and Ticket Center you will take a monorail or a ferry boat over to the Magic Kingdom.

If you want to be at the turnstile for the park 30 minutes before park opening then I recommend getting to the parking toll booth at about 60 minutes before park opening.  The only except is if you are coming on a major holiday such as Christmas; on Christmas Day you want to be there early and plan on a couple of hours to get from the toll booth to the park entrance.

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
