First-time Cruiser! 5-night Cruise in July on the Disney Magic going to Castaway and Cozumel. Do you know what our dining rotation will be/where we will be eating each night?

Alyssa, let me be the first to welcome you to Disney Cruise Line! The Disney Magic is one of my favorite ships! Your Western Caribbean adventure is full of amazing ports and two celebrations at sea. So, please pull up a chair, and let’s dig in!

It’s with deepest pride and greatest pleasure that the dining team welcomes you to be their Guest at one of three fantastic restaurants each night. Your servers – who will come to learn all your favorites – will “rotate” with you to each restaurant. Whether you start in Lumiere’s, Animator’s Palate, or Rapunzel’s Royal Table, you’ll have the opportunity to dine at two restaurants twice on your sailing. You don’t have to worry about repeating a menu because each night is full of new and delicious choices. Once you board, you’ll find your dining rotation on the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app, but I can help you plan your attire.

Pirate Night is currently scheduled for Wednesday, your day at sea. There are plenty of opportunities to let out your inner buccaneer. Guests are encouraged to wear their favorite swashbuckling garb for dinner and participate in a night full of pirate-themed activities. An optional dress-up night is scheduled for Thursday. Your crew can dress to impress or keep it casual. The choice is yours! Each evening photographers are set up in the atrium to capture your smiles. There are different backgrounds themed to each night. Consider taking pictures before dinner if you’re traveling with junior sailors or even a messy spouse. This way, you don’t have to worry about any accidental spills in your picture-perfect moment.

Alyssa, celebrating a holiday with Disney Cruise Line is always extra special, and how exciting your sailing has two celebrations – Independence Day and Disney’s “Silver Anniversary at Sea.” In the past, the fourth of July was ushered in with red, white and blue decorations, a patriotic-themed dinner, and a chance to take your picture with your favorite Disney Pals dressed for the occasion. Additionally, in honor of Disney Cruise Line’s 25th anniversary, Captains Mickey and Minnie are rolling out new culinary delights, entertainment, and merchandise during their “Silver Anniversary at Sea” celebration. Keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for more information.

Thank you for letting me “dish” about dining. I have to admit that I am a little jealous. This sounds like a fantastic cruise, and we haven’t even discussed all the fun you’ll have at Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay or Cozumel. Please come back to planDisney if I can help you with anything else. I wish you a magical sailing!

    SEAS the adventure!
