This is the first year that I will be using the Deluxe Dining Plan. I have a question about the snacks. I know that I get 2 snack credits and 3 meals per day but if I order a popcorn and a soda, does that count as 1 snack credit or 2?

    Hi Pamela,

With the Deluxe Dining Plan you get two snack credits per day.  Each snack item counts as a snack.  In your example, the soda would be one credit and the popcorn would be another.  Usually the snacks that are covered range between $2-$4.  Each food location specifically states what items are covered under the dining plan as a snack.  You'll notice that popcorn in a plastic refillable cup is not included in the plan, but the less expensive popcorn in a disposable paper container is included.

You also don't have only 2 credits each day.  You start out with 2 credits x how many nights you are staying.  You may find that one day you use 3 credits and the next you only use 1.  The plan is very flexible and offers a lot of food.

You also get refillable resort mugs with the plan.  This will give you complementary coffee, water, hot chocolate, ice tea, etc.  You are only allowed to fill the resort mug at the resort you are staying, but I think you will find it valuable.

    Enjoy
