Hi Jamie!
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I am very excited to know you'll be attending
Mickey's Halloween Party!
I was just there this week and I can tell you– it's incredibly fun!
The way it works is, you arrive at Disneyland as early as three hours prior to the beginning of the Party, which is great because by doing so, you can take daytime photos of your costumes!
Once a Cast member scans your Mickey's Halloween Party tickets, you will get a bracelet which lets people know you are there for the Party. After getting your bracelet, you will be handed a small plastic bag for Trick-or-Treating. Keep in mind these bags are not too big and usually fill-up pretty fast. I recommend you bring a back pack or an extra Trick-or-Treating pail so you can have more room to collect the yummy treats!
Guests with tickets to Mickey's Halloween Party also get access to the Disney California Adventure Park, however, Trick-or-Treating stations are only set-up at Disneyland.
There is a Freakishly fun Halloween Schedule which you can obtain when you're entering the Park.
It includes times for the
Frightfully Fun Parade, featuring our favorite infamous Disney Villains, directions to all the Trick-Or-Treating stations, photo opportunities with your favorite Characters in Halloween costumes and places to dance, dine and enjoy Halloween-themed attractions!
I hope this helps.
Have a Ghoul ol' Time at the
Disneyland Resort,
-Anabel M.
