    The first week of January says MK closes at 8 and HEA is at 8. In the past they have been at 9 that week and hours are way longer. Do they usually change the time of the night shows also or just park hours when it gets closer?

    Greetings Crystal and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a very good question.

    Theme park hours and schedules are usually available online 180 days in advance. I personally plan my visits following the online calendar and check back regularly for updates. All hours and schedules are subject to change without notice, so I recommend planning your day based on what is currently published and checking back for updates as you get closer to the dates of your visit.

    We still have a few weeks ahead before January. I remember planning for a summer visit last year, and I was very happy to find out that theme park hours had been extended and new Extra Magic Hours ended up being added. Since January is a cooler time of the year, I would expect that the 8:00 P.M. schedule is accurate for Happily Ever After. I traveled to the Walt Disney World Resort this past January and this amazing nighttime spectacular took place at 8:00 P.M. during the week that we visited.  Again, the schedule is subject to change without notice, so check back online periodically for updates.
