Hi! First WDW vacation in April. I made a reservation at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Downtown Disney for 12pm, then we have a reservation at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall at 3pm. Is there complimentary bus service that can take us from downtown to epcot

    Hi Sandra,

It sounds as if you have a great princess-themed day planned!

The free Walt Disney World buses do not run directly from Downtown Disney to the theme parks, but you have a couple of good options to get from there to Epcot easily. I would take the bus from Downtown Disney to either the Boardwalk or the Beach Club resort. Sometimes, the same bus serves both resorts, so I would exit at whichever one the bus reaches first.

From either of those resorts, it is an easy 5-minute walk to the International Gateway entrance to the Epcot World Showcase.

That rear entrance is seldom crowded and you should be inside quickly. You will enter Epcot between the United Kingdom and France pavilions. Norway is about halfway around the World Showcase circle from the International Gateway entrance.

You also could take the water taxi from Downtown Disney to one of the Port Orleans resorts, then transfer to a bus to the front entrance of Epcot there. But that might take a bit longer.

I hope that helps. Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and please let us know if we can answer any other planning questions for you. Enjoy!
