This is my first WDW trip with my 3 and 5 year olds. What is the best hotel option that offers easy travel to Magic Kingdom as well as a fun pool area for toddlers?

For ease of travel to the Magic Kingdom and a great themed pool, my first choice would be Disney's Polynesian resort.  The Polynesian is one of only three monorail resorts and offers guests the convenience of "hopping" on the monorail and zipping over to the Magic Kingdom in practically no time.  The Polynesian also features a volcano pool, a grotto slide, and a wet play area for little ones.  There is even a white-sand beach that offers a great view of the fireworks at night.

If you do decide that the Polynesian is right for your family, be sure to check into the Lilo and Stitch character breakfast that takes place at the Polynesian's Ohana restaurant every morning.  You can get details by calling 407-WDW-DINE.

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
