This will be our first visit with a 3 and 5 year old, is there any advice as to which attractions to visit that are close to each other (so we are jumping all over the park). Magic kingdom will be our primary park. Thanks

    Hello, Shari!

The Walt Disney World Resort offers some really great planning tools for families traveling with preschoolers. One of my favorite tools to use when planning my family's visits is the online theme park maps. You can view a map of park attractions on the Walt Disney World website to help create a park touring strategy that is personalized for your family's age interests and thrill level. Whether your children are the daring types or prefer mild-but-wild rides, you are sure to find plenty of options for your little Mouseketeers to enjoy!

For your convenience, I have linked the preschool-friendly Magic Kingdom Park map here, but you can switch between all of the theme parks by using the drop-down menu on the top left of the page. You can also filter the attractions based on Thrill Level, Interests, Age Interest and Height. I think you will find the Height filter the most useful, especially when planning appropriate attractions and FastPass+ selections for your three year old to enjoy.

One extra piece of advice that I'd like to share with you: A mid-day break at your Disney Resort hotel could be very useful for your two young children. My family and I always make sure to return to our hotel for a nap or a swim (sometimes both!) before heading back to the theme parks.

I hope you and your family make many magical memories at the Walt Disney World Resort, Shari! Please don't hesitate to stop back by the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have any additional questions before your trip. Happy planning!
