    this is our first visit to wdw (yea!!). we are staying at new orleans resort. where is the best/closest place for breakfast (buffet style)? my kids also do not know we are going. i'm not telling them until the day before we leave. any suggestions?

    You will love Port Orleans!  The grounds are lovely, and the boat ride to Downtown Disney is so much fun. While your choices for breakfast are limited to your food court, you can enjoy several buffets around property.  You can head to Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary, Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club, or if you are planning on going to a park, you can enjoy Crystal Palace at Magic Kingdom, Hollywood & Vine in Hollywood Studios, or Tusker House in Animal Kingdom.     Surprising your kids will be so much fun!  How about giving them a list of clues using WDW trivia?  Or maybe jot a quick note "from Mickey Mouse" and leave it on their pillows and they can see it when they go to bed the night before?  Another fun way might be to wrap up a Disney Gift Card and write "See Ya Real Soon!" (This way, they will also stay on budget with souvenir shopping!)
