This is our first visit to WDW will be there oct26-nov2. We have a 7yr daughter. Feel flustered with so much available hard to plan. have Halloween and La Nouba tkts. Do you have any other ideas to cover with her? She has ADHD and worried might be too much

    Hi Michelle!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Resort.

Walt Disney World Resort is huge.  It is twice the size of the island of Manhattan in New York City and roughly the size of San Francisco, CA.   It is impossible to do everything Walt Disney World has to offer in a single trip.  Sometimes doing "less" is better; that's especially true for my wife who has a great time at Walt Disney World when we don't try and do everything.

With the exception of Halloween night (and the night before) in the Magic Kingdom, you are going during a relatively quiet time.  I suggest making sure you enjoy your vacation and not trying to run from theme park to theme park and attraction to attraction.  If you were going during a very crowded time, I would suggest being at the theme parks before they officially open in order to be "first in line".  However, in your case, you might want to slow down and take your time getting there; that always works best for my wife.

I also suggest stopping by Guest Services on your first day in a theme park and asking for a Guest Assistance Card.  Just tell the Disney Cast Member helping you that your daughter has ADHD and describe what you think could make the trip more enjoyable for her.

Finally, I suggest picking up the book "The Complete Walt Disney World" by Julie and Mike Neal.  It is a great book for first time visitors as it is full of information, but it is not overwhelming!
