This will be our first visit to WDW in March, staying at the Port Orleans Riverside we want to save money by trying not to eat out so much I've heard people buying larger refridgerators and small microwaves to put in the room is that allowed by the resort?

    Hello Mary,

Port Orleans Riverside (and all deluxe/moderate resorts for that matter) will have a small refrigerator in the room.  I have not heard of people bringing an additional refrigerator to a room that already had one but I have heard of people bringing collapsible coolers.  As far as bringing a small microwave, that should be fine as well.  The food court will also have a microwave you can use.

In case you are wondering, in addition to the small refrigerator, there is also a coffee pot in the room.

    I hope this helps.  Diane
