It's the first visit for us, and were staying in contemporary MK view. Will visit MK until our second day. What would be the best way for my kids (girls 4, boy 2) to see the castle? I'm not sure I would like their first view to be from our room?

    Hi Christian,

First trips to Walt Disney World are so exciting!  Congratulations on your upcoming Disney adventure.

I stayed in Magic Kingdom-view rooms at Disney's Contemporary Resort as a child many times.  The view of Cinderella Castle from the balconies of these rooms is simply magical.  I wouldn't worry about this being the first glimpse your kids will get of this royal residence.  I think they'll fall in love with it as soon as they see it.  Then, on day two of your trip, they'll get to explore it up close and personal.  That's an entirely different experience.  I promise that when you see it as you turn the corner onto Main Street U.S.A. in the Magic Kingdom, it will take your breath away.  I'm so excited for your family!

Please let us know if you have any additional questions as you plan your upcoming trip.  We'd be honored to help you make your vacation as magical as it can possibly be.

    Best wishes,
    Jill
