First visit traveling from Oct 2 -11 Staying @ movie resort, No meal plan no reservations no plan in general going with the flow, looking for some advise on planning, so overwhelemd and frustrated. Traveling with husband, daughter 4 and son 14.

Hi, Caroline!    NO!  No being overwhelmed or frustrated!  This is a FUN vacation!  Let's start with the basics . . .

-ROOM.  It sounds like you have your room reservation, so you are set there! (see how easy!)

-TICKETS.  If you haven't purchased tickets, I suggest calling (407)W-DISNEY to add on Magic Your Way tickets for your family.   I would go for an 8 day base ticket.

-DINING.  If you are adding on tickets, check on FREE dining!  Yes, FREE!  See promotion HERE, and ask if you qualify when you call (407)W-DISNEY.

-TRANSPORTATION.  If you are flying in and will not have a rental car, you can get free Magical Express
transportation.  Just ask that same Disney Reservationist to help you with this when you call.

-BACK TO DINING.   This is Disney!  You will want to book some fun dining experiences.  You are a bit late in the game, but try to be flexible and book some fun places:  Chef Mickey's, Whispering Canyon Cafe, and Crystal Palace.

-NO RESERVATIONS?  If you don't want to be tied down to reservations, there are some great counter service locations.   Cosmic Rays (Magic Kingdom), Pizza Planet (Hollywood Studios), and Wolfgang Puck Express (Downtown Disney) just to name a few.

These are the basics.  If need more information, always feel free to call Disney directly at (407)W-DISNEY or write me back so I can help you out.   Remember:  Hakuna Matata . . . No worries!   Have fun planning.
