    First visit 2/21/09 - 3/7/09 - want to surprise the family with a fireworks cruise. Which is better - Wishes or Illuminations? Both sound great but with Wishes, will we hear the music/words? Is it better to see within the park? Luv the panel!!!

    I would have to say WISHES!!  It's fabulous!!  We took a fireworks cruise the last time we visited Walt Disney World.  We could hear the music and the words fairly well.  It was great to just stand or sit with a loved one and watch.  No crowds just you and your family and a few other boats.  Watching the fireworks from a cruise will give you a different perspective.  Equally there is nothing like standing in front of the castle and watching as the fireworks explode over the castle.  I hope you are able to surprise your family!!!  Have a fabulous trip!!
