First visit, staying at Coronado 1 wk and wondering if its worth it to rent a car vs taking the buses to cut down on transportation time to and from parks. Have a 4 & 8 yr old so will be taking nap breaks during the day. Unsure about # of stops/crowd

Hi Stacey - Congrats on your first visit!

Having a car will definitely cut down on your transportation time.  However, when you park your car at the theme parks, you'll be in a parking lot far from the entrance, and will likely need to take a tram to the front entrance.  So, it's not as convenient as it originally may seem, because the buses drop off right at the front entrance.

If you are going for a week, I'd probably skip the car.  My family never rents a car and we enjoy letting Disney take care of all of the transportation.  While you will have to wait for the buses, it's usually not too bad.

I hope that helps!  Have a great first Disney visit!
