First visit we stayed at the Bay Lake Tower, second visit we stayed at the Swan, now we're debating Coronado Springs Resort for a week, or do a value resort for 10 days. Will we be disappointed in the stay at a value compared to our last locations?

    Hi Michelle,

You've stayed in amazing Walt Disney World Resorts! But then again, they are all so wonderful and very difficult to compare. I think the most important question to ask is how much time do you intend to spend at the Resort Hotel? A huge perk to staying at Disney's Pop Century or Disney's Art of Animation (both value resorts) is the dedicated bus service. That alone accounts for huge value. Although always subject to change, currently those bus routes do not make multiple stops ... it's a direct shot to the destination. Big time saver! That being said, the value resorts do not offer slides at the pool nor do they offer table service dining. If these amenities are important to you, consider the moderates. I will say, though, the Big Blue Pool at AoA is so super cool. It's the largest pool of any of the Disney Resort Hotels and with underwater speakers and larger than life theming, you likely will not be disappointed. Generally speaking, the moderates offer a bit larger of a guest room, so if space is important you'll want to take note of the 50-60 square foot difference, on average.

I can spend days trying to figure out the best resort for our next trip, but ultimately you cannot go wrong with either choice. Each trip becomes an opportunity to build countless memories. I wish you a magical vacation, Michelle!
