First visit for my 2 DS (5&6). Could you recommend best resorts Moderate and Deluxe for my "all boy" boys? We love pools! We are planning 2 days at resort, so we need fun and food--both can be picky eaters--but DH and I want good food, too! H

    Hi Krystal!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.

If the pool is your key concern, then you should definitely look at the following Disney Moderate Resorts:  Port Orleans Riverside, Coronado Springs, or the Caribbean Beach Resort.  Between those three, I think Coronado Springs has the best pool, followed by the Caribbean Beach Resort.  However, I prefer staying at Port Orleans Riverside.  I love the theming at Riverside, and I think the other two resorts are too large and too spread out.

At the Deluxe level, there is really only two choices:  Disney's Beach Club and Disney's Yacht Club.  That's because they both share Stormalong Bay, the pool complex between the two resorts.  It's an amazing pool complex with sand bottom pools, an awesome water slide, and a sand island that young children absolutely love.  I always try to stay at the Beach Club during the summer in order to have a fantastic place to cool off!

With regards to having great food at your resort, a Disney Deluxe Resort provides a lot more options than a Disney Moderate Resort.  Also, a resort location greatly influences the choices available since there may be other resorts nearby.  For example, if you stay at the Beach or Yacht Club, you will have easy access to all of the other great restaurants in the Crescent Lake area as well as in the pavilions in the World Showcase portion of Epcot. (a 5 to 10 minute walk away).

I hope this helps!  Write back with more questions!
