this is our first visit so I was proactive & made res for in sept along with dining res. Now I had to change our dates for a few days later then org planned & lost ALL our res fo dining...HELP!!! How do I get to eat where we want & enjoy this t

    Hi Carrie,

I understand your frustration completely!  Have no fear, though.  There are so many amazing places to dine at Walt Disney World.  Could we help you find restaurants that would be reasonable substitutes for the reservations you lost?  For instance, if you can't replace a reservation to dine at Cinderella's Royal Table, consider booking at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall instead.  There are princesses there too.

Or, if you can no longer enjoy breakfast at Chef Mickey's, give 'Ohana in Disney's Polynesian Resort a try.

Just let us know what kind of dining experience you seek and we'll help you find wonderful restaurants to replace the reservations you lost when you changed your dates of travel.

If there are a few restaurants, however, that are simply "must do" experiences for you, don't give up hope.  Simply call (407) WDW-DINE periodically to see if a table has opened up during your visit.  If you can be flexible with your dining times, that will certainly increase the likelihood of finding an available table.  Don't forget to call that line within 24 hours of your desired dining time as there are often last minute cancellations that come in.

I'll keep my fingers crossed that you will be able to get reservations at the Disney restaurants you most desire to experience.  Meanwhile, let us know if you need other suggestions.

    Best wishes,
    Jill
