How do I get a first visit pin for my children?

    Hey there, hi there Amanda!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. Visiting Walt Disney World for the first time is so exciting. Whether your children are old enough to conquer the Disney mountains or so little that they won't remember the trip, the memories you'll create will be priceless! You're going to love seeing the parks through your children's eyes.

Picking up a complimentary First Visit button is an easy way to let cast members know you are visiting for the first time. They love to welcome new guests and add a little extra pixie dust to their experience if possible. If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, you can pick one up at the Front Desk in your hotel lobby; otherwise, just stop by Guest Relations in any of the four parks.

Did you know that you can stop by Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe in Magic Kingdom to have your button customized with your name written in a fancy font and some additional artwork like fireworks and balloons? There is a charge for these additions, but it can turn this fun souvenir into a treasured keepsake.

Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
