First visit in October with my 3y old and 20 months old! So excited! Do many toddlers usually attend the Not so scary Halloween party? Any suggestions? I see it starts at 7pm.. My son is going through a fearful phase and also 8pm is bedtime..thanks so much

Hi Lilly! I have taken and will be taking my two toddler age grandsons to the party again this year!  They absolutely love this special night in the Magic Kingdom!

Because it is a late night party I would suggest you make sure your toddler has a nap that day so he can stay up late enough to enjoy the parade and the special fireworks show.  If this is not possible it will be a short night for you and perhaps not worth the price of the ticket.

The park is basically not full of frightening events but more of a festive party mood with most of the guests coming in costume.  My grandsons particularly enjoy the dance parties with the one in Fantasyland their favorite.  There are trick or treat spots through-out the park that night and each guest is given a treat bag when they enter so they can bring the candy back to their resort rooms for later enjoyment.

The parade has a few spooky moments but with simple discussion how things are not real it isn't a frightening experience.  The Haunted Mansion float is full of ghosts but is also escorted by the most lovable gravedigger and his dog.  Before the parade begins watch for the Headless Horseman trotting down the streets announcing the parade that will follow.
