First visit in Nov. with a 3yr & 1yr old. Booked Wilderness Lodge for a week but wonder if we can split between WL and BoardWalk or other resorts that's closer to HS/Epcot/AK. Any good resort recommendation for easy access to HS/Epcot or AK? Thanks!

Oh, the Wilderness Lodge - such a wonderful resort and always one of our favorites.  In fact, our last stay at the Wilderness Lodge we split our visit with ...... the Boardwalk!!  You simply need to pack up your stuff, and Disney will move it for you to the other resort  We enjoyed our stay at the Boardwalk and being able to walk to Epcot and Disney Hollywood Studios (this park is a bit farther). However, we thought the bus ride to the other parks tiresome because of the many stops it made.  We found the Beach/Yacht Club to have a more simple bus route with all the perks that the Boardwalk has.  And, it has an amazing pool area with the 3 acre Stormalong Bay (sand bottom pool, lazy river, sand bar), and you can still walk over to the Boardwalk to enjoy the evening activities.

And to be close to the Animal Kingdom, we love the Animal Kingdom Lodge with its African decor; you can't beat the savannah views that some rooms have.  Just too cool to have your morning coffee with a giraffe just feet away.  Even if you don't have a savannah view room, there are balconies throughout the resort making it possible for every guest to enjoy the animals.

You might also consider visiting www.allearsnet.com for more pictures of the resorts to give you a bigger idea of what to expect.

I hope these details help you to decide; please let us know if we can help further.
