    First visit for our family, friends are telling us not to stay at a value resort suite, to spend our money on a moderate hotel closer to the park, so we dont have to take the shuttles? Our first choice is AOA!! What is your opinion on this debate? TY

    Hi Wendy - You'll have to take a bus to all of the theme parks, whether you stay at a value resort or a moderate resort.  The only exception is the Port Orleans resorts, where you can take a boat to Downtown Disney.  If you want to stay at a deluxe resort, you can take a monorail, boat, or walk to some of the theme parks, but that's a step up, price wise.

    If your first choice is the Art of Animation resort, that's where I'd recommend you stay.  While I haven't stayed there yet, I did get a sneak peek of it a few months ago, and it's lots of fun.  I'm not sure the ages of your children or how many people are in your group, however, but that's what I'd suggest.
