Our first visit ever to WDW with our boys; 5 & 8. We are staying at AoA and we have a few EARLY morning ADRs. Would the bus get us there in time without having to rush? Is a taxi more efficient? What is the average taxi cost? Will I need booster seats?

Hi, Charles! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I am so excited for you and your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation! Disney’s Art of Animation Resort has something for everyone, including great transportation service! Disney Theme Park Transportation commences up to 2 hours before Theme Park opening and I would suggest discussing your early morning Advanced Dining Reservations with your Lobby Concierge upon arrival, or anytime leading up to your planned meal, as they will best be able to tell you what time to catch your bus at and what time the earliest bus will be arriving. Alternatively, you definitely can take a taxi but I believe that your 5 year old would be in need of a car seat. Many taxi companies have these available and again, your Lobby Concierge is a great place to start as they can call a taxi for you, or recommend a company. Cost really does vary depending on where you are traveling throughout Walt Disney World Resort and there are certain taxi company websites that offer taxi cost calculators, although they are not affiliated with Walt Disney World Resort.

I hope this helps answer your question and that you and your family have a magical vacation!
