This will be our first visit to Disneyworld 4 adults and 4 children in total (ages 7, 8, 10,11). We are staying September 21-25. Can you recommend what is the best order to see the parks and where is best places to eat. We have dining plan.

    Hi, Jan!

How exciting! Your family's first trip to Walt Disney World!

You picked a great time of year to enjoy the parks, too, as crowd levels will be lower during the week of your stay. Great plan!

According to touringplans.com, a great, unofficial crowd-predicting site, the best days for each park, based on crowd levels are the following:

    Sept. 21: Epcot
Sept. 22: Epcot; Disney's Hollywood Studios
Sept. 23: Epcot; Disney's Animal Kingdom (*Magic Kingdom)
Sept. 24: Magic Kingdom, Disney's Animal Kingdom
Sept. 25: Disney's Hollywood Studios (Magic Kingdom; a Neutral Park that day)

*Extra Magic Hours in MK last until 1 a.m. on 9/22. As such, fewer Guests will go there on the morning of 9/23...they were just there. (Smaller crowds for you!)

However, the most crowded Magic Kingdom should be is 3.2 out of 10, so head there at any time throughout your stay.

For dining, maximize those Dining Plan credits, so choose the best participating restaurants first. Advanced Dining Reservations at the most popular restaurants book quickly, so reserve as soon as possible. (Guests can reserve up to 180 days of check-in.) Table Service favorites include Chef Mickey's, The Crystal Palace, Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano, Teppan Edo, The Coral Reef, Crossroads at The House of Blues and so many more. For Quick Service, we don't miss Wolfgang Puck's Express, Sunshine Seasons and Be Our Guest Restaurant.

Send another question including interests of your party (Princesses a must? Mickey? Seafood lovers?) and where you're staying and I'll detail far more information on the best use of your Dining Plan, Jan, including strategies for getting the best options for TS, QS and snacks as well. I love to help!
