Hi April!
Congratulations on deciding to plan your First Visit to Walt Disney World!
With your daughter being 11 years old, she'll be able to enjoy virtually everything there is to enjoy in all four parks. Consider reserving some fantastic Character Dining Experiences for her to enjoy such as Akershus Royal Banquet Hall for Princess Storybook Dining, Supercalifragilistic Breakfast at 1900 Park Fare or even Chef Mickey's. Character Dining is great fun for all ages and a definite "must-do" for your first trip.
There are several great ways to make her visit special and even more memorable. She may enjoy the idea of a Makeover at the
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique where she can choose to be transformed into a Fairytale Princess, Disney Diva or Pop Princess. Alternatively, she may prefer to become a Mermaid or an Empress at
The Pirates League.
I'd definitely, highly recommend that you stay onsite at one of the
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels for your first stay. The added
benefits in doing so include transportation convenience, Extra Magic Hours and the Disney Dining Plan. My top resort picks for you would include Disney's Pop Century Resort at the Value level, Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside in a Royal Guest Room at the Moderate level, and Disney's Beach Club or Disney's Polynesian Resort at the Deluxe level.
If you have questions about Resorts, the Disney Dining Plan, how and when to make your package reservation or any other questions, please write me back April. I'd love to hear from you again and would be thrilled to assist you further.
